Dataset description

Curation note

This dataset is a curated subsection of the A mesial-to-lateral dissociation for orthographic processing in the visual cortex (Bouhali et al., 2019), available on OpenNeuro as ds002155. The original authors were not involved in the annotation, metadata was extended based on the available data and paper. The original dataset did not come with a readme. This version has the following changes compared to the original dataset:

  • Added readme
  • Correction of non-UTF characters in dataset description
  • Add citation cff file
  • Rewrite of the MRI metadata files to follow BIDS standard. Original files can be found in the sourcedata directory.
  • Adjustment of graphemes event files
    • Individual presented characters and graphemes are extended to new line to allow easier individual HED annotations
    • Blocks are renamed to explicit strings to avoid confusion as numeric values
  • Adjustment of the regularity event files
    • Remove rows with n/a onsets
  • Annotation of tasks with HED LANG in task-graphemes_events.json and task-regularity-events.json
  • Addition of a session directory (as per ANC requirements)
